Amanda Schwausch, M.Ed

Dean of Faculty

Amanda grew up on the Academy campus, and attended NCTA from kindergarten through 12th grade. Upon graduating, she attended Texas Christian University and majored in political science with the intent of pursuing a career in child advocacy. During her senior year at TCU, she met, and became best friends with, her future husband. Knowing she wanted to help children, she decided to continue her education at TCU and graduated in December, 2005 with her Master’s of Education. Through several years of teaching, she developed and grew as an educator; learning that both care and consistency are essential to having a successful classroom. In December 2011, Amanda brought her husband and daughter “home” and returned to live and work at North Central Texas Academy. She is excited to be in this leadership role as the Dean of Faculty.
